Every week the team seeds a single marquee matchup. The pairing is deterministic, so the same fight appears for everyone, everywhere, for seven days.

When the week closes, the verdict is frozen. Votes cast afterwards still move the year-end ranking, but they cannot rewrite history.

It is a small rule with a big effect: the archive stays honest.
